I had a problem with multi devices. With just the internal audio and not external USB devices it works just fine, both, though the app test, and through a real conversation.

Seems to hog a good bit of CPU. I'm not sure if that's just this version, or all versions. I tried hv15's fix with JACK and alsa-plugins. No luck. Neither does aplay work. Not going lie im kinda shocked this isnt in community by now. That seemed to fix the issue!
Addendum at This bug was solved in version 5. Both screens are x - One is the laptop and the other is a secondary display in portrait. That's very helpful. Zoom client is being signed out after 30 sec when connected to a meeting.

In case anyone finds it helpful, I was having issues with screensharing. Namely, when I shared my screen, participants just saw green where my window should be. First, I upgraded my kernel from 4. This caused the green to instead appear black to participants. This is essentially because of wayland. I had originally set xorg as the default, but this has been reset at some point perhaps during the kernel upgrade or perhaps earlier.
Switching to Xorg makes zoom work perfectly. Latest version, for me at least, kills the non-primary window from displaying anything.
It just remains black so I'm unable to see what's being shared or the primary speaker when no one is sharing. I don't see anything super incriminating in the logs so I'm unsure what's causing it.
Downgrading to the last available version seems to solve the problem. I changed the pkgver back to the current release. FredBezies Their package file seams to be corrupted. I will roll back for now. Please be sure to file a bug on their website. The v4l2loopback kernel module appears to be required for Desktop not application window sharing. Xorg works but generally crashes. I had those extra packages installed already and the new package has not fixed the issue. Most likely this is an upstream problem.
DCengineer I can not reproduce your problem. The packages I build all have as permission settings for the listed directory. Furthermore I would recommend against changing the mode bits of those directories since is used by probably all other packages.
Please try building the package yourself without an AUR helper. Should this still not work build without cleaning up the pkg directory, change the permissions there and then repackage.
